Three months into 2017, what adventures have you already had?

My wandering spirit recently took me to Myrtle Beach where I thought I would escape the cold of the north, only to encounter frigid, arctic winds as a result of Storm Stella who decided to spread her iciness along the Atlantic coast all the way down to the Carolinas.  Fortunately, we were spared the white stuff that wreaked havoc in the northern States, but the frosty winds reminded us how unpredictable Mother Nature can be.  The only certainty these days is not being certain at all and to be prepared for rapidly changing weather patterns.

Tip: always pack clothes that can be layered for warmth and easily shed to stay cool.
