In this age of travel (actual and virtual), people are connecting more than ever before. The world is literally at our ‘fingertips’ making learning, communication, interaction and the exchange of ideas, cultures and languages accessible whenever and wherever.

A simple smile is often all it takes to get a conversation started; followed by a casual hello, a whole new world potentially opens up to you. You may be meeting your partner, making a new lifelong friend, connecting to new opportunities or opening the door to amazing experiences and adventures.

Start each day with a smile! You may be pleasantly surprised at what awaits you or how others respond and react; better yet, feel the positive vibes a smile puts on your own endeavours (for example, when trying to learn or communicate in a foreign language).

So go ahead, make the act of smiling a part of your daily routine from the moment you awake, and don’t forget to say hello.
